Simple and plain, this lovely Barnwood Uptown Bed is beautiful in its display of the richly grained, reclaimed barnwood from which it is constructed. Horizontal aged planks form the headboard and footboard and offer a fabulously rustic look. Although we do not have a picture of the platform style of the Barnwood Uptown Bed, it is available. The Barnwood line of furniture from Fireside Lodge is all reclaimed red oak from old tobacco barns that were built in the late 1800s. The piece is handcrafted, then carefully finished with an extra durable clear-coat lacquer. These barns are being torn down, so using the reclaimed wood is a complete recyling process.
